Patterns that fill the eye include flowers, triangles and reptile scales. The eye is encircled by several angular blocks of maroon, a golden-color and ivory, with an arching green stem of leaves sweeping up over its right side. Accents of the Chinese character for dragon embellish the upper right corner, with hand lettered wording of "Year of the Dragon" in the lower left and an Oriental pattern in the top left.
